it's simple ... adding the digits of any two digit number ... and then subtracting that sum from the number ... will always result in an answer that is a multiple of nine. examples: 23 ... 2+3=5 ... 23-5=18 ... which is 9*2 76 ... 7+6=13 ... 76-13=63 .. or 9*7 this will be true of any 2 digit number. now notice that the symbol in the chart for every multiple of nine is the same ... ie ... the symbol for 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 99 ... is the same. click on the 'crystal ball' and it will come up. notice, that when you try again ... the symbols in the chart do change ... however, once again, the symbol for every multiple of nine is once again identical.
