Death is Smaller Than I Thought

My Mother and Father died some years ago
I loved them very much.
When they died my love for them

Did not vanish or fade away.

It stayed just about the same,
Only a sadder colour.

And I can feel their love for me,
Same as it ever was.

Nowadays, in good times or bad,

I sometimes ask my Mother and Father

To walk beside me or to sit with me

So we can talk together

Or be silent.

They always come to me.
I talk to them and listen to them

And think I hear them talk to me.

It's very simple –
Nothing to do with spiritualism

Or religion or mumbo jumbo.

It is imaginary.
It is real.
It is love.

Love

Love, as the word is generally understood,
denotes separation, whereas in true
non-objective relationship we do not
love others, we ARE others.

God

"Which God are you talking about? What is God? Is he not the very
light by which you ask the question? 'I am"' itself is God. The seeking itself is God. In seeking you discover that you are neither the body nor mind, and the love of self in you is for the self in all. The two are one. The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me, apparently two, really one, seek unity and that is love."

Those who wish to embody the Tao

should embrace all things. To embrace
all things means first that one holds
no anger or resistance toward any
idea or thing, living or dead, formed
or formless. Acceptance is the very
essence of the Tao. To embrace all
things means also that one rids oneself
of any concept of separation; male
and female, self and other, life and
death. Division is contrary to the
nature of the Tao. Foregoing
antagonism and separation, one
enters in the harmonious oneness
of all things.

The important thing is not to think much,
but to love much;
and so, do that which best stirs you to love.

Desperate for changing

Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you
I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me now...

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind
There is nothing else
There is nothing else
There is nothing else

Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you....

Just hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment (here with you)
Hanging by a moment here with you

Devotion

"The experience of not forgetting consciousness alone is the state of
devotion which is the relationship of unfading real love, because the real knowledge of Self, which shines as the undivided supreme bliss itself, surges up as the nature of love. Love itself is the actual form of God. That is pure bliss. Call it pure bliss, God, Self, or what you will. That is devotion, that is realization and that is everything." Sri Ramana

The Subtle Energies

Some day, after we have mastered the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, . . . we shall harness . . . the energies of love. Then, for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire. And whenever we cannot express it in our lives and actions, we feel miserable and frustrated

in every breath

if you're the center
of your own desires
you'll lose the grace
of your beloved

but if in every breath
you blow away
your self claim
the ecstasy of love
will soon arrive

in every breath
if you're the center
of your own thoughts
the sadness of autumn
will fall on you

but if in every breath
you strip naked
just like a winter
the joy of spring
will grow from within

all your impatience
comes from the push
for gain of patience
let go of the effort
and peace will arrive

all your unfulfilled desires
are from your greed
for gain of fulfillments
let go of them all
and they will be sent as gifts

fall in love with
the agony of love
not the ecstasy
then the beloved
will fall in love with you
