The Simple Truth

If you can discover this experience of being;
of existing beyond the body and mind,
beyond identification with thoughts,
then all that is left is to rest in this experience;
the dropping away of who you think you are.

The mind can think,
the body can be as it is,
but none of it grabs you any more.
It simply comes and goes.

It is not holding on to the experience,
rather living in the absence of who you think you are,
in non-doing,
in absolute surrender.

In this moment beyond all of your mental activity,
there is only presence,
there is only awareness.

You simply have to be willing
to be quiet and gentle enough
to notice your experience of existing
in this moment.

It is that simple.

All of the mental activity you put on top of it
clouds the truth of who you are.

Any stress you experience
is because you are resisting the simple truth
that you exist in this moment.
